The great artist, Yannis Vakirtzis, does not describe, he composes like nature. It aims at the whole. His work vibrates from light and differs in the shadows.

Giannis Vakirtzis was born in Piraeus in 1957. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts at the workshop of P. Tetsis. He did free postgraduate studies in France, Paris School of Fine Arts, Canadian School, and Tour. He has made many personal exhibitions with paintings, but also large installations in the area. Major art historians have been involved in the project.
His work is at the Gray gallery New York as well as a video art at the MOMA Contemporary Art Museum.
